Metkolist is operated by Edmart Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your information when you use our website, services, and platform at https://www.metkolist.com. Our Terms of Service at /terms-of-service also apply to use of the platform.
Metkolist is listing operations software for sellers. You may connect marketplaces you authorize — such as Shopify and Etsy, and other platforms we support over time (see our Integrations page) — to import, edit, bulk update, and publish or schedule listings from one workspace.
This policy applies to:
It does not cover third-party websites or services linked from Metkolist, such as Shopify, Etsy, or other marketplaces you connect. Those services have their own privacy policies.
For your Metkolist account data (for example name, email, billing identity), Edmart Inc. typically acts as a business/controller. For shop and listing data obtained from a Marketplace through a connection you authorize (limited to the scopes you grant for that Marketplace), you are the seller/controller (or equivalent), and Edmart Inc. processes that data as your service provider/processor to provide Metkolist features under these instructions and this Privacy Policy.
If you connect a marketplace account you own or are permitted to manage, we may process data within the scopes you grant. This can include connections such as Shopify and Etsy, or other supported platforms, such as:
We only access shops and stores the seller authorizes. We do not collect listings from shops or stores you have not authorized.
We use the information we collect to:
We use authorized shop, store, and listing data only to provide these seller features to the authorizing account owner.
You may connect Metkolist to external platforms we currently support or add over time (see our Integrations page for current status) using OAuth or other authorization methods those platforms provide. Each connection is limited to shops or stores you authorize and to the scopes granted during authorization.
Those platforms’ own terms and privacy policies also apply. You can disconnect a connection in Metkolist or by revoking access in the marketplace account. After disconnect, we stop using that platform’s API for that shop or store. You may also request deletion of associated listing data as described below.
If you connect an Etsy shop, Metkolist uses Etsy’s OAuth flow so you can authorize access to shops you own or are permitted to manage. We only access shops the seller authorizes, within the scopes granted during authorization. More about this seller tool: https://www.metkolist.com/etsy.
Data we may process in that authorized scope includes shop identifiers and listing content such as titles, descriptions, tags, photos, variants, prices, inventory, and related listing metadata.
We do not request order or buyer scopes from Etsy. Our application does not access, store, or process any Etsy order, transaction, or buyer data. The scopes we request are limited to listings_r, listings_w, listings_d, and shops_r.
We use this data to provide listing import/sync, editing, bulk edit, and publish/schedule to Etsy.
You can disconnect the shop in Metkolist or revoke access in your Etsy account. After disconnect, we stop calling the Etsy API for that shop and delete associated Etsy shop and listing data within 30 days, or immediately if you submit an explicit deletion request (see Section 9, Section 10, and our Data Deletion page). Where a product exists in your workspace from multiple sources, we remove only Etsy-sourced fields; non-Etsy content you created remains unless you request full account deletion.
The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
AI features work only on content you create or upload yourself. Marketplace-imported data (including Etsy listings and Etsy-hosted images) is never sent to AI providers, and member content is never used to train models.
The platform may offer optional AI assistance to draft, review, classify, or validate seller-provided content, including listing copy and media. When you use these features for content you create or upload yourself, Metkolist may send the minimum necessary inputs—such as titles, descriptions, tags, attributes, and photos you provided directly—to subprocessors that provide model inference (for example, OpenAI or other contracted model providers), solely to generate suggestions. Etsy-originated content (imported listings and Etsy-hosted images) is never sent to AI subprocessors.
Suggestions are applied only after you review them. You remain solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated outputs before publishing. Outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or marketplace-compliant.
We do not sell or license your marketplace listing content to third parties. We do not use Etsy or other marketplace member content to train Metkolist’s own models for resale or unrelated products. Where a subprocessor offers settings to disable use of API inputs for their model training, we enable those options when available. Current AI and infrastructure subprocessors may be updated over time; contact support@metkolist.com for the current list.
You may ask us to disable optional AI features for your account (see Section 10).
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate metkolist.com and the Metkolist application. On metkolist.com, we currently limit cookies to what is necessary to run this marketing website; we do not set advertising or analytics cookies there today. The Metkolist app at app.metkolist.com may use additional cookies for login, security, and product features. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit features. See our Cookie Policy for current details; it forms part of this notice.
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information in the following circumstances:
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
If you disconnect a marketplace, we delete associated shop, store, and listing data for that connection within 30 days. If you submit an explicit deletion request, we process it without undue delay (typically immediately for Etsy-connected data). Where a product exists in your workspace from multiple sources, we remove only the marketplace-specific fields and data for the disconnected connection; non-marketplace content you created remains unless you request full account deletion. We may retain a limited record where required (for example invoices, security logs, fraud prevention, or legal holds).
You can:
To make a request, see our Data Deletion page or email support@metkolist.com or info@metkolist.com.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account credentials and listing data. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not ask you to provide Marketplace buyer or seller passwords to Metkolist; connections use Marketplace-approved authorization (such as OAuth) where available.
No system is completely secure. Use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately at security@metkolist.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
If we become aware of a security incident affecting Marketplace-connected data, we will notify affected account owners without undue delay. Where Etsy’s API Terms require notice to Etsy and/or the Etsy seller regarding compromise of data accessed via the Etsy API, we will follow those obligations.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where required, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border data transfers in compliance with applicable laws.

Residents of certain U.S. states (including California) may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. Please contact us to learn more about the rights available to you.
Metkolist is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13 (and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13). Our Terms also require users to be at least 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy regularly to stay informed about how we protect your information.
